AR-1 DMAT is a member of the National Disaster Medical System that functions under the Department of Health and Human Services for the United States of America. Our members are made up of doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMT's, and pharmacists, as well as communications, safety, security and logistical personnel.

The team meets every other month of the year for training, planning and evaluation of our skills. Our team comes out ready to work hard and help the people involved in any type of disaster, whether natural or man-made.

AR-1 is proud to have helped thousands of people throughout its history including deployments to New York for 9/11 and New Orleans for Katrina. No matter how big or small, Arkansas-1 is ready.
